What is Happy street that is being organised after the summit? What will happen there?
-
Reimaging and Reclaiming the streets as a playground. The Happy Street converts into a vehicle free zone to promote culture, community and safety among children and citizens. During this period, 1 and half hour to 2 hours of planned activities(Performances, workshops, sports, games, craft, art, fitness sessions and fun activities) are organized by aProCh and partner organizations. Rest of the time, the street remains open for all for walking, cycling, skating and to showcase their skills.
aProCh (a Protagonist in every Child) is a community-based initiative started under Riverside Education Foundation that has been striving since 2007 to create CHILD FRIENDLY CITIES.
aProCh under its umbrella runs different initiatives that provide various avenues for children to explore the joys of childhood with curiosity and creativity, one of them is Happy Street.

What are the facilities for Accommodation?
- Hotel Accommodation:
Participants must make their own arrangement for the stay, teams will offer some special discounted hotel options to choose from. Please visit the accommodation tab to know the available options.
MEAL PLAN:
All meals are to be covered by participants except the dinner on 1st December, lunches and snacks on 2nd and 3rd December

- There will be transportation available only from the designated hotels to the venue of the event. For any other transport requirement,

Do I need to bring a travel adapter for charging purposes for laptops and mobile phones?

Yes, please bring a travel adapter as plugs have two round pins or three round pins in a triangular pattern.

How many students can I bring to attend the ICCGS 2023?
- Ideally 3, however there’s no upper limit for international delegation.

Is there any participation fee?

Yes, participation fees for 2 days of the Summit - 2nd and 3rd December for adults and children are as follows:
Participation Fees for International Delegates:
Early Bird Discount to be paid by 30th September: 100 USD + Bank Transfer Charges (per person)
After 1st October: 120 USD + Bank Transfer Charges (per person)
Participation Fees for Indian Delegates:
Early Bird Discount to be paid by 30th September: Rs. 6750 (per person)
After 1st October: Rs. 7500 (per person)

- Yes, information on this will be shared with the country partner, please make sure to connect with them to receive the correct information

- 1000 INR for 2 people in a Mid-range Restaurant,

Will everything take place at the same location?
- The event will spread across two locations, welcome dinner will be hosted at Riverside School and the ICCGS for the 2 days will be hosted at EDI which is the main venue

- Yes, students actively take part in the co creation of the entire event.
